These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Flashcard Maker (“the App”), operated by xeo (“we”, “our”, or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA (https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/).
Flashcard Maker is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, educational, and self-study purposes. The App is designed to help you create, manage, and study flashcards using techniques like Spaced Repetition.
If you choose to purchase a "Pro" feature or a Subscription within the App:
Billing: All purchases are processed and managed by Apple via your App Store account. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at the confirmation of purchase.
Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Management: You can manage or cancel your subscriptions in your App Store Account Settings at any time after purchase.
Refunds: All refund requests are handled exclusively by Apple. We do not have the technical ability to issue refunds directly.
Flashcard Maker is a tool, not a guarantee.
We do not guarantee specific academic results, exam scores, or professional certifications.
The effectiveness of study sessions depends on your consistency and the quality of content you create. The App’s algorithms are mathematical estimates and should not be relied upon as a perfect measure of knowledge.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of all flashcards, text, images, and diagrams you create. We do not store or transmit your content to our own servers.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party intellectual property or copyright laws.
iCloud: Syncing is provided via Apple’s iCloud. We are not liable for data loss, sync delays, or service interruptions caused by Apple’s infrastructure.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, xeo shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to:
Loss of study data or diagrams.
Academic failure or professional setback.
Incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the App following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
